Eighteen Cuban migrants land in South Florida on homemade boat with '50s
Russian car engine
Sixteen men and two women, suspected migrants from Cuba, came ashore
early Wednesday morning near West Palm Beach, according to wptv.com.
The 18 migrants were in a homemade boat and landed in Riviera Beach
about 2 a.m., the Border Patrol reported. They were taken to an
immigration processing center, according to the report.
According to wptv.com, the homemade boat was 21 feet and used a 1950s
Russian car engine.
